NewCustom Fields? Idea

It would be neat to be able to assign a "Time Spent" Value to Task for billing purposes. I would then manually increment this value as I work on a task.
It may be worthwhile to consider a set of "Custom Fields" for users to add more than notes, such as client name, telephone number, or even associated web links.
I'm using tags for type of work "categories".
